About Iveren
Iveren Elizabeth Nongo is a business leader and community advocate with over 10 years of experience in business development, relationship management, team leadership and stakeholder engagement. She brings a strong combination of organisational discipline, people leadership and commercial expertise to the organization.
As a member of the organising team, Iveren contributes to the development and coordination of the tournament, supporting it's continued growth from a community sporting initiative into a platform with increasing national and international relevance.
Her professional experience has equipped her with strong capabilities in leadership, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, team coordination and event-related planning. She currently serves as a Business Manager at AXA Nigeria, where she leads a team of 25 professionals and oversees operations across multiple locations. She has consistently demonstrated her ability to build teams, manage relationships and deliver against demanding objectives.
Iveren holds an MSc and an LL.B (Hons), with legal training from the Nigerian Law School.
She is also a Red Cross-certified First Aider, reflecting her commitment to safety, community service and responsible participation.
Beyond her professional career, Iveren is actively involved in volunteering and community-focused initiatives. Her interests include sports, community engagement, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and facility management.
Through her involvement in the tournament, Iveren is committed to helping build an event that brings people together through sport, creates meaningful community impact and provides a credible platform for participants, partners and sponsors to connect.
